The latest VIDIZMO update is here! We took it back to the lab, packed it with new features that will make your experience smoother, faster, and, dare we say, a little magical.

What’s New​

  • VIDIZMO is switching things up—forget user roles and say hello to Client Access Licenses (CALs)! Now, access to features is controlled by CALs, so if you’ve got one, you’re all set to explore—if not, well, time to grab one!
  • VIDIZMO now gives you 11 default groups to manage access like a boss—assign permissions to the whole group, so you’re not playing favorites! Plus, groups keep content relevant, making sure users only see what’s important to them!
  • VIDIZMO lets you play the role of a feature gatekeeper—restrict access for users by editing their profiles, so they get just the right level of access and tailored experience! Learn more.
  • Meet the VIDIZMO Audio Indexer App! Now you can easily detect and redact Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from your transcribed audio and video files—keeping things secure and private, without breaking a sweat.
  • Ready for some magic? The VIDIZMO Audio Indexer can now create summaries of your transcribed audio and videos on your Portal—making it easier than ever to get the key points without all the extra noise!
  • VIDIZMO’s chaptering feature is here to break up long content into easy-to-digest sections. Now users can navigate quickly and get a glimpse of what’s covered.
  • Get creative with your Portal's look! VIDIZMO lets you customize the pages using CSS classes—change colors, sizes, fonts, or even hide elements. Time to make that portal truly yours!
  • Check out your last successful login history, now easier to track—no more mystery logins!
  • VIDIZMO’s Audio Indexer plays voice detective, tagging speakers like "Speaker 1" and "Speaker 2"—no matter what language they’re chatting in! Learn more.
  • VIDIZMO now lets you create lifecycle policies to delete, purge, or move your content across access tiers like pro —because who doesn’t love a little storage spring cleaning?
  • Say hello to seamless learning! VIDIZMO now lets you integrate your Portal with your LMS using the LTI 1.3 protocol. Bring all your great content directly into the LMS and level up the learning experience!

Enhancements​

  • Login Settings Just Got a Glow-Up! Now you can extend your session time and stay logged in longer—no more accidental logouts! Plus, you’re the boss of login attempts now, keeping unwanted guests out and your security on point!

  • We’ve revamped the Help Widget! Now you can easily search for all the knowledge you need about the VIDIZMO Portal right from the Help pane. Explore and find answers faster!

Bug Fixes​

  • Just tidying up a few pesky glitches to make your SharePoint experience smoother than ever. Now, when you click "Report issue" from any video, you'll no longer be whisked away to the homepage. The site should also stop its endless loading loop and start responding to you like the true friend it was meant to be. Oh, and comments? They're back. Favorites? They're right where you left them.
  • We’ve tackled the pesky "Guest User" issue that was sneaking into analytics reports and taking over real users in the audit log. It’s all cleared up now—everything’s back to its rightful place.
  • We’ve sorted out the issue where User Summary and Video Summary weren’t quite matching up in user analytics reports. The numbers now tally as they should, so everything’s in sync again.
  • We’ve tightened a few bolts behind the scenes, so now the full homepage loads just as it should upon login.
  • We gave the page scroll a little tune-up for custom attributes. It’s smoother now, gliding just as it should.
  • We’ve ironed out the kinks with the SSO sign-in button. No more execution timeout errors.
  • We gave the playlist playback a bit of attention, and it’s now up and running perfectly.
  • We’ve smoothed out the scrolling in the Portal Library, so the video list now loads just as it should.
  • We’ve fixed the quiz formatting, so questions entered in all lowercase will now stay that way—no surprise capital letters here.
  • We’ve fine-tuned the "Categories" filter in the Portal Library, and it’s now working like a charm.
  • We’ve addressed the issue with the "Move Case" option not appearing. It’s back in action, ready for use.
  • Fixed the issue where the videos wouldn't play on mobile – now you can enjoy the tunes on-the-go!
  • Squashed a bug where embedded videos wouldn’t play on iPhones – fixed the widget embedding, so videos now load smoothly without any playback errors!
  • Bug fixed! You can now upload images in the branding section without any issues.
  • Bug fixed! Now, when you apply a filter and click on a media file in a folder or collection, the correct file opens on the playback page – no more random selections!
  • Fixed a bug where users ended up getting certificates with someone else's name—no more identity swaps, promise!
  • Bye-bye, empty gaps! Fixed a bug where the responsive embed left an awkwardly large blank space below the video.
